Scholar and activist Na’eem Jeenah talks to us about the history of connections between South African and Israeli Apartheid and resistance to it.
Peace Vigil co-founder Shirin recently interviewed Na'eem Jeenah, a well-known South African academic who has written widely on Palestine and Israel. He is the executive director of the Afro-Middle East Centre in Johannesburg. The new President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, has categorically stated that the South African government will end diplomatic relations with Israel over its actions in Palestine.
